Horis User Manual 2.7 Internal Backup Battery
from internal battery as long as in-flight condition is detected or user
is interacting with the knob.
If no in-flight condition is detected or if there is no user action with
rotating knob, Horis will turn off after 5 minutes.
When Horis is operating on internal battery, it can be turned off by
long press of 5 seconds. You can't turn Horis off, if it is powered
externally.

Status icon

If Horis is equipped with internal battery the battery icon appears in
the top-right corner of the screen. This icon is present on all pages.
It indicates current battery status. Figure 15 shows two examples.

Battery status has several states. Each state is described with corre-
sponding icon. Icons and their meaning are given in Table 10.
Note: When Horis does not detect internal battery presence, no bat-
tery symbol is shown. This is an error condition for cases where Horis
is equipped with an internal backup battery.
