5.1 Electrical connections
Note
Terminal ranges of the cable glands
Use cables matched to the terminal ranges of the cable glands:
• Cable gland M16 x 1.5 (plastic): Terminal range 5 to 10 mm
• Cable gland M16 x 1.5 (plastic): Terminal range 6 to 10 mm
• Cable gland M20 x 1.5 (plastic/metal): Terminal range 10 to 14 mm

1. Undo the six screws and open the door of the wall-mounted device.
2. Remove the EMC plate on the right side panel.
3. Unscrew the union nut of the cable gland
4. Insert the connecting cable through the cable gland
5. Press the wire end ferrules (VDE 0100 Part 520) onto the ends of the wires. Then
connect the wires of the connecting cable to the appliance plug
supply and PE conductor connections are correct!
Tighten the screws to the appliance plug with a torque of
– 0.5 Nm at the terminals
– 0.3 Nm at the strain relief and the connector enclosure
6. Connect the appliance plug
7. Fasten the connecting cable in the cable gland
torque of 3 Nm.
The power cable must comply with the valid regulations and conditions for the place of
installation and be provided with a protective conductor at the potential of the enclosure. The
cross-section of each wire must be ≥ 1 mm
● Connect the phase conductor to the marked position in the plug.
● Make sure that a power disconnection device is located in the direct vicinity of the device
(for load rating, see nameplate).
● Make sure that the supply voltage matches the voltage specified on the nameplate of the
device.
