5.6.1 Automatic operation
Information
By default this is enabled on the
.
µAM
Procedure
1.
Set the humidity set point (parameter Hu01) by pressing TEMP repeatedly until symbols 8 "set" and 9
"%rH" come on at the same time.
To disable the Dehumidification function set Hu03 to its maximum value (to do this see the chapter on
"Parameters").
To disable the Humidification function set Hu02 to its maximum value (to do this see the chapter on
"Parameters").
Information on the AUTOMATIC DEHUMIDIFICATION function
Parameters Hu01 and Hu03 that set the behaviour of the function are only accessible if the µAM is fitted
with the humidity probe.
The function is activated – only with chiller already in COOLING mode - if the ambient humidity reaches
the value Hu01 (humidity set point) increased by the value of parameter Hu03 (DEHUMIDIFICATION
differential);
The function is deactivated when the ambient humidity reaches the value of Hu01.
When active, the display shows symbol 4 at the same time as symbol 2 or 3, which were on previously.
Important: if symbol 4 is not accompanied by symbol 2 or symbol 3, it means that manual DEHUMIDIFI-
CATION mode has been activated (see further on).
Information on the AUTOMATIC HUMIDIFICATION function
Parameters Hu01 and Hu02 that set the behaviour of the function are only accessible if the µAM is fitted
with the humidity probe.
The function is activated when the ambient humidity reaches the value Hu01 (humidity set point),
decreased by the value of parameter Hu02 (HUMIDIFICATION differential).
The function is deactivated when the ambient humidity reaches the value of Hu01.
When active, the display shows symbol 5 together with one of the symbols 1, 2 or 3.
The function cannot be activated manually.
Activating DEHUMIDIFICATION manually (see below) deactivates this function.
5.6.2 Manual activation of the dehumidification function
Procedure
1.
Make sure the operation of the system is activated (see the section "System ON/STANDBY").
2.
Press the MODE button repeatedly until the display shows symbol 4 and symbols 1, 2 and 3 are off
To deactivate the function, press the MODE button again.
Information
This mode sets the external unit in COOLING mode.
During the manual DEHUMIDIFICATION, the automatic HUMIDIFICATION is disabled.
When active, the display shows symbol 4; symbols 2/3, previously on, are switched off.
Important: if symbol 4 is accompanied by symbol 2, it means that manual DEHUMIDIFICATION is not
active, but rather the automatic function (see above).

5.7 Sleep mode

This ensures centralised control of the Sleep function on the e-drofan units: time increase of the ambient
temperature set point in COOLING (decrease in HEATING).
Useful for improving comfort and achieving energy saving.
Procedure
1.
Make sure the operation of the system is activated (see the section "System ON / STANDBY").
2.
Press the SLEEP button once to activate the function for 1 hour; each time the button is pressed the du-
ration is increased by one hour, up to a maximum of 9 hours. The display shows symbol 13 (SLEEP) and,
in fields 15 and 14 the remaining duration of the function, in hours. Fractions of hours are rounded up.
Setting the value 0 deactivates the function.
If Sleep mode is already active, pressing the button once deactivates the function (symbols 13, 14
and 15 go off).
Information
The activation of Sleep mode from the µAM cancels all the Sleep mode timers activated from the acqua
or e-droset terminals; the terminals will show the SLEEP symbol without indicating the remaining time,
which will only be displayed on the µAM.
Once activated from the µAM, the function cannot be deactivated from the acqua or e-droset terminals.
The first time that µAM is switched to STANDBY (POWER button or automatically when managed by time
bands), Sleep mode is stopped.
