It is possible to make the seat width larger by maximum 10 mm each side, by modifying the side guard fixing.

Unscrew the bolt/washer A from the fixing ring X and swing the side guard up a little.

Insert the two 5 mm spacers C (if necessary, replace the bolt A with a longer one).

Screw up and tithen the bolt/washer to the fixing ring.

Screw off the two bolts D that fix the plate B to the frame by means of the clamp made of the parts F and G.

Swing the side guard up, slide off the part F of the clamp, insert the 10 mm spacer E and re-insert the part F

along the two bolts.

Position the clamp onto the frame, align the part G of the clamp to the two bolts D and tighten them while pay-

ing attention to hold the plate B vertically.

Check the correct position pf the side guard with respect to the profile of the tyre and make sure the bolts A

and D are tightened. See also chapter "Side guard".

Now, the side guard may be too close to the wheel, therefore, you may

probably add some spacers to the wheel receiver, too. Remove the receiv-

er and add 2.5 e/o 5 mm spacers.

Advice: before removing the receiver, it is useful, as a try, put the spacer

on the axle of the wheel and put it on. This way, you will immediately see

what spacer you need.
