• The weight of a voltage transformer can be over
with its bottom sheet
30 kg. Use suitable lifting gear (e.g. a mobile

different panel width
having installation performed by two fitters.

regulations in the country of installation.
• The busbar voltage transformers are to be
installed after installation of the busbars and
before the busbar covers are fitted.
• Perform high-voltage testing of the busbars
before installing the voltage transformers.
• Before installing the voltage transformers, remove
the insulating plugs from the relevant end or
cross adapters.
The voltage transformer support is compatible
for 12/24 kV VT for each width of panel. But it just
has one different material between different wide
panels (450 mm, 500 mm, 600 mm). The detailed
installation procedure and position will be
illustrated in the following content.
There are five steps in total to install the busbar
voltage transformer.
Step 1
Pre-assemble the voltage transformer with its
bottom sheet by 6 countersunk head screws as
shown in Fig. 2.3.4.7.1.

Step 2
In this step, the rivet nuts need to be fastened with
pressure with all hexagonal bore of support roof
(Fig. 2.3.4.7.2a) and landing plate (Fig. 2.3.4.7.2b).
The installation materials of voltage transformer
are totally the same according to different wide
panels, but the position differs (Fig. 2.3.4.7.2a).
