product is sold, the following names in parenthesis may be registered instead.

• Duplex Color Image Reader Unit-E1 (F279000/F278901)

Points to Note before Installation

This manual contains description of Duplex Color Image Reader Unit-E1 and that of Duplex
Color Image Reader Unit-F1/F2 in one volume.
CAUTION:
• Because the weight of this equipment is 22 to 23 kg, be sure to work with 2 or more
people when lifting it. Also, be sure to lift the equipment horizontally.
• Be sure not to discard the packaging box of the Reader Unit because work is
performed on the packaging box.
• Be sure not to place the Reader Unit on the floor directly. Otherwise, the frame may
be deformed.
• When placing the Reader Unit on the packaging box, be careful not to get fingers
caught.
