OptiTap Installation

CAUTION
Ensure that fiber used is UL Listed Optical Fiber Cable suitable for this
application, and does not contain any metallic members or other electrical
conductive materials.
To install the OptiTap Connector to the ONT, refer to
and complete the following steps:
1. Remove the protective Covers on the OptiTap Connector.
2. Remove the Jam Nut from the OptiTap Cable Connector.
3. Unscrew the Fiber Optics Sleeve from the Fiber Optics Cable.
4. Push the Fiber Optics Cable through the rubber grommet on the bottom of the housing.
5. Reattach the Fiber Optics Sleeve to the OptiTap Cable Connector.
6. Attach the Mounting Bracket (P/N 32681833-1E) to the base of the housing using the two
