Note: When using the vision system with the Breakout cable, the polarity of the TRIGGER+ and TRIGGER- pins is
not critical. However, when using an optional I/O module, the polarity of the TRIGGER+ and TRIGGER- pins should
be observed.

Encoder Inputs (In-Sight 5604 Only)

The Breakout cable can be used for communication between the vision system and a single or quadrature encoder. For
single encoders, the ENCODER A pin must be used. For quadrature encoders, the ENCODER A or ENCODER B pin can
be used. The signal from the encoder must be +24VDC. For more information, refer to
page 22.
