11. 8. Select Digit Buffers

The Select Digits Buffers are three temporary storage areas where subscriber-entered digits
can be moved. The digits are moved by use of either a select route or an action code in the
search tables. When a route is "selected" or an Action Code containing a "move digits to select
digits buffer" is executed, all the digits currently in the destination buffer are moved to the
select digits buffer for the search table currently in use. Digits can only be moved to a specific
select digits buffer once during a call, any additional attempts to move digits will be ignored.
The digits in the select digits buffers can be output to the network by the "#06," "#07" or "#08"
ACS tokens.
