9. 8. MF4 Digit Detector

The ACS token #1CD will be used to define the MF4 tone that is to be detected (Table C) and
to set the maximum time that the detector will wait for the presence of the tone (Table D). R59/
R79 is used to set the MF4 guard timing (refer to page 69). The MF4 digit detector is able to:
Look for the network to generate a specific MF4 tone
Look for the specific MF4 tone to be detected (MF4 guard timing)
Look for up to 20 seconds for detection of this digit
Detect the specific MF4 tone and continue or do not detect the specific MF4 tone and fail
the call sequence.
