Hardware failure routine
When a hardware failure occurs, the following sequence of alerts
occurs:
The appliance uploads hardware and software information to
a Symantec server.
The following hardware information is uploaded:
Power supply wattage
CPU voltage
Fan rpm
Disk sttaus
HBA status
Critical temperatures
RAID group status
The following software information is uploaded:
Backup jobs that started in the last 12 hours
Backup jobs that failed in the last 12 hours
Total available deduplication space
Used deduplication space
Feature IDs
The appliance generates a local alert by email to notify you of
hardware failure.
