4.1. Service menu

4.1.1. OS installation

1. Prepare PC to installation.
2. Start „Elcom Service" system from USB key.
It is necessary to start system from another device as integrated hard disc. Call out the start menu for alternative
media during starting system.
3. Choose option 2 – Recovery partition (with OS images) installation and press ENTER. The choosen image is
installing.
4. After installation you will be prompted to restart. Wait while „Elcom Rescue" package is started.
5. The screen will display a dialog to select a communication language of „Elcom Rescue" package. Choose English.
6. The screen will display main menu in choosen language:

a. Insert boot USB key to USB port.
b. Connect keyboard to USB port.
c. Connect mouse to USB port. (Only Nx executions.)
d. Plug propper adapter to power supply connector.
a. Press several times F11 when starting Uniq PC.
b. After few beeps the boot device menu is displayed (HDD, USB key, CD or DVD, according to connected
devices). Choose USB key and press ENTER.
c. After choosing boot device, the „Elcom service" application starts and displays main menu.
a. Choose option 2 in main menu – Full system recovery.
Option erase all data from harddisk and restore choosen system. System will ask confirmation of choosen
operation, because restoration is irreversible process and will not be able to restore lost data.
b. Confirm system restoration with ENTER. System run detekction of present software images and offer to
operator all found images.
