Preparing to use the winch

Park the vehicle straight ahead
of the object you want to pull.

Remove the winch cover.

Set the winch clutch lever and
turn the winch clutch lever coun-
terclockwise from lock to the
free position.

Remove the hook holder and
pull out the cable by hand.

Hold the hook and extend the
cable as far as necessary.
