the line

After specifying the test settings, you can connect to the line.
To connect to the line
1 Connect one end of the test cable to the jack on the side
of the module.
2 Connect the other end of the cable using one of the
following methods:
– If connecting to the NID, plug the cable into the
modular connector on the NID, or use clip leads to
clamp pins 4 and 5 as shown below.
– If connecting behind a full-rate splitter, use a cable that
will connect the VDSL signal on pins 2 and 5 to pins 4
and 5 on the HST-3000 as shown below.
