PROCEDURE 3.
UPDATE THE SOFTWARE
From time to time, Verathon may make software updates available for your system. To inquire about the
availability of a software update, contact Customer Care or your local representative.
1. Export any exams you need to retain. For more information, see
2. Make sure the probe is attached to the console.
3. If there are any USB drives connected to the console, remove them.
4. Make sure that the system is displaying the Home screen and that its battery is at least 20% charged.
5. If the system is connected to external power, disconnect it.
6. Insert a USB drive containing a valid software update package into one of the two larger USB ports on
the console.
The system begins updating and may restart during the update process. Do not remove the battery or
the USB drive while the update is under way.
