• Place the printer/copier on a level, solid surface (not on a thick
pile carpet) that has adequate strength for the weight of the
machine.
• Do not attempt to move the printer/copier. A leveling device that
was lowered when your printer/copier was installed may
damage the carpet or floor.
• Do not locate the printer/copier near a heat source.
• Do not locate the printer/copier in direct sunlight.
• Do not locate the printer/copier in line with the cold air flow from
an air conditioning system.
• Do not place containers of coffee or other liquid on the printer/
copier.
• Do not block or cover the slots and openings on the printer/
copier. Without adequate ventilation, the printer/copier may
overheat.
• Do not attempt to override any electrical or mechanical interlock
devices.
• WARNING: Be careful when working in areas identified with this
warning symbol. These areas may be very hot and could cause
personal injury.
If you need any additional safety information concerning the printer/
copier or materials, contact your Xerox representative.
This printer/copier produces ozone during normal operation. The
ozone is heavier than air, and the quantity is dependent on copy
volume. Providing the proper environmental parameters, as
specified in the 5750 installation procedure, ensures that
concentration levels meet safe limits.
