Summary
You can adjust the sensitivity of the 5750 to recognize
color from black and white. There are five levels, from 1 to
5. Adjust toward level 1 to more easily detect black and
white originals. Adjust toward level 5 to more easily detect
color originals.
You can change the default setting for the Output Color
Document Type feature to Auto, Full Color Picture, Color
Text & Graphics, Black Text & Picture, or Black Text or
Picture.
You can select either Full Color Picture, or Color Text &
Graphics as the default document type when the 5750
detects a color original in Auto mode.
You can select either Black Text & Picture, or Black Text or
Picture as the default document type when the 5750
detects a black and white original in Auto mode.
You can select either Printed Image, or Photograph as the
default document type when the 5750 is in the Full Color
Picture mode. Photograph can also be changed to Map
using Tools Program Number 18.
You can select either Text or Picture as the default
document type when the 5750 is in Black Text or Picture
mode.
You can change Photograph to Map as a default option
document type for Full Color Picture mode in Tools
Program Number 16.
You can adjust the 100% setting of R/E within the range of
98.0% to 102.0% at intervals of .1% for both vertical and
horizontal directions. You cannot adjust 100% under the
Variable% and Irregular R/E features.

You can adjust the 100% setting for the vertical direction.
You can adjust the 100% setting for the horizontal
direction.
You can change the four fixed percentages in the Reduce/
Enlarge feature. Presets 1 to 4 are indicated from top to
bottom on the Control Panel. For each preset, select the
desired percentage from the 19 options listed in Table 2.
Specific percentages from 25 to 400 can be entered in
Preset 1 only.
You can change the default for R/E Preset 1.
