5.7 Electrical connection

5.7.1 Voltage supply / supply network connection

DANGER
Danger to life due to incorrect connection.
Residual current devices sensitive to all types of current
(type B) may not installed behind residual current devices
sensitive to pulse currents (type A). Note the following
points when connecting to the power supply:
f Observe DIN VDE 0100, part 530.
f Make sure that the charging system is not installed
behind residual current devices sensitive to pulse cur-
rents (type A).
f Please comply also with local requirements.
The charging column may be connected only to a TN-S
system.

Connect the supply line:
f Connect the supply line according to the terminal label-
ling (for tightening torque, see the Chapter "4. Technical
Data").
f Check that the individual cores are connected correctly
and that the screws are tightened.

5.7.2 Earthing the device

f Connect the foundation earth electrode to the earthing
point in the charging column according to DIN 18014.
f Connect the earthing wire to the front plate.

5.8 Connecting external signal transmitters

In addition to the terminal block for the supply voltage, two
additional relays (KF1 and KF2) are provided for connecting
external signal transmitters (e.g. for connecting a pay and
display ticket machine).
