8. Servicing

Opening the Charging Column
The charging column must be opened for some mainte-
nance and repair work.

Unfolding the swing frame
The tasks described below may only be carried
out by a qualified electrician.
Folding out the swing frame is required for some mainte-
nance and repair work.

CAUTION
Risk of injury when moving the swing frame!
There are areas between the edge of the enclosure and
the pivoted frame where there is a risk of injury from crus-
hing or cutting.
f Do not reach into swing range between enclosure edge
and swing frame!

Unfold the swing frame:
f Remove the fastening screws (1).
Depending on the version of the charging column, the
swing frame is mounted with one or two screws.
f Fold the swing frame (2) forward.
Once the work behind the pivoted frame is complete:
f Make sure when folding the swing frame that lines and
water discharge hoses are not pinched.
f Attach the swing frame with the fastening screws.
f Close the charging column after completion of the
maintenance and repair work.

Electric shock hazard when devices are damaged
If a damaged device is used people can be seriously inju-
red or killed through an electric shock.
f Do not use the device if it is damaged.
f Mark the damaged device to ensure that no one conti-
nues using it.
f Have a qualified electrician rectify the damage immedi-
ately.
f Have an electrician take the device out of service if
necessary.
Regular control and maintenance tasks support the safe
and error-free operation of the device and contribute to
increasing the service life. This allows early detection of
possible error sources and prevents hazards. If it is deter-
mined that the device is damaged, the damage must be
rectified immediately by a qualified electrician.
f Check the device daily, i.e. at each charging, for opera-
tional readiness and external damage.
