f Use suitable attachment materials in the wall (e. g.
Fischer UX8 x 50 with 5 mm wood screw).
f Hang up the device and tighten the screws.
f Check that the device has been fitted firmly and secu-
rely.

5.6 Electrical connection

5.6.1 RS-485 bus
To operate the device, it must be connected via RS-485
bus with a MENNEKES ACU. Up to 16 charging points can
be connected via RS-485 bus with an ACU.
To connect several devices via a MENNEKES
ACU, the wiring must be located in line bus topo-
logy.
Two terminals for four separate wires and two shield sup-
ports are fitted for the purpose of connecting the RS-485
bus cable.

f Strip the RS-485 bus cable and expose the shield.
f Feed the RS-485 bus cable through the shield
clamp.
f Fix the RS-485 bus cable in place at the height of the
exposed shielding using the shield clamp.
f Connect the individual cores to terminals 1 and 2
(e.g. for Siemens Profibus line: core of the green cable
to terminal 1, core of the red cable to terminal 2).
