Programming the Speed Controller

a) Programming of Full Throttle and Neutral Positions
For programming the full throttle positions for forward/reverse driving and the neutral position, proceed as follows:
• Switch on the transmitter, but leave the throttle/brake in the neutral position. Put the trimming for driving into the
centre position.
• Keep the setup button pressed and turn the speed controller on.
• When the red LED flashes, release the setup button at once.
If you do not release the setup button once the red LED flashes, programming mode is activated. In this
case, switch off the speed controller and proceed again as described above.
The red LED continues to flash; the motor beeps.
The beep tone is generated because the brushless motor is activated for a moment. Depending on the
motor, this beep may be very low or inaudible. In this case, observe the LED on the speed controller.
• Leave the throttle/brake lever in its neutral position under all circumstances and do not move it.
• Shortly press the setup button. The green LED flashes once and the motor beeps (observe the note above). The
neutral position is now saved.
• Move the throttle/brake lever into full throttle for forward driving (pull the throttle all the way towards the handle) and
keep it there.
Attention!
If you do not move the transmitter throttle/brake lever during the programming process or do not move it far
enough, the vehicle might respond to even slight movements of the transmitter throttle lever or become
uncontrollable. In that case, repeat programming.
• Shortly press the setup button. The green LED flashes twice and the motor emits two beeps (observe the note
above). The full throttle position for forward driving is saved.
• Move the throttle/brake lever into full throttle for reverse driving (push the throttle away from the handle all the way)
and keep it there.
• Shortly press the setup button. The green LED flashes three times and the motor emits three beeps (observe the
note above). The full throttle position for reverse driving is saved.
• Release the throttle/brake lever at once, so that it is in its neutral position.
• Wait for at least 3 seconds. The green LED flashes four times, the motor emits four beeps.
Programming (neutral position and full throttle positions for forward and reverse driving) is completed; the speed
controller is ready for operation and the motor now reacts to movement at the throttle/brake lever at the transmitter.
