Camera Selection
This field displays the active camera. Currently, there is only one active camera for
Brightfield mode and one active camera for Fluorescent mode.
Objective Selection
To select the objectives to be used for creating a new compensation image, select the
checkbox(es).
Optovar Selection
If you have selected an optovar for a position in the Microscope Settings window, the
optovars for each position are displayed in this field. To select the optovars to be used for
creating a new compensation image, check the selection box(es).
Preview Settings
There might be specks or minor etches on the surface of the compensation slide that
require modifying the threshold settings. Therefore, the scanner will not use those areas for
the creation of the compensation images.

Brightfield Compensation
To create the compensation image(s), click
The Progress bar at the bottom of the window displays the progress of the compensation image
creation.
Fluorescent Compensation
You have received 3 Fluorescent Compensation Slides with the base unit. Use these slides for creating
the compensation images.

Current threshold
To modify the threshold settings, set the desired threshold level in the box.
Use Selection Box
Select this if you have a compensation slide that has only certain pre-defined areas
for creating compensation images (due to the type of the compensation slide, or
because the compensation slide has faded in some areas).
