PIN
It is a security code that protects the handheld
against unauthorized access. The PIN is
provided with the SIM card by the service
provider. The PIN can comprise 4 to 8 digits,
and can be changed as needed.
PUK
It is the password for unlocking the SIM card
when you enter an incorrect PIN three
consecutive times. The PUK consists of 8
digits, and is provided with the SIM card by
the service provider.

network, for example when you are traveling.
SIM Card

memory, and subscriber data) required to

Common SMS

users. A written or received message (with
fewer than 160 characters) can be displayed,
received, edited, or sent.

information, such as traffic information and
weather forecast, to handhelds within network
coverage. The information is sent in the form
of text messages to your handheld.
