3 Send: Sends the message to a number.
4 Delete: Deletes the current SMS template.
5 Delete All: Deletes all SMS templates. After
you select this option, the handheld displays a
pop-up box for you to confirm the operation.
Press the OK key to confirm the operation, or
press the C key to cancel the operation.

Settings

You can set all parameters related to short
messages. Short messages are sent and
received according to the parameter settings.
Enter the Settings menu. You can choose
one of the following options:
1 Setting: Press the OK key to choose one of
the following options:
1) Message Center Number:
Enter the message center number, which
is required to send a text message.
Press the OK key to save the number.
You need to obtain this number from
your network operator.

2) Message Types:
You can reset the message type,
including text, fax, email, and
user-defined messages. The message
type must be supported by your network
service provider.
3) Validity Period:
You can set the period during which the
messages can be kept in the message
service center before being deleted.
2 Storage Position: Sets the storage position
of messages: Phone First or SIM First.
Note: You can save 500 messages in the
handheld. The short message storage
capacity of a SIM card varies.
3 Status Report: Enables or disables the
status report.
If the status report is enabled, the network
informs you that a message has been
successfully sent after the recipient receives
your message, and the report is saved in your
inbox.
4 Storage Status: Displays the message
storage status of the SIM card and handheld.
