Preparations

Insert a valid SIM card before using the handheld. SIM cards are provided by network service
providers.
Note: Keep SIM cards beyond the reach of children.

Installing the SIM card and battery

1. Open the handle on the battery latch. Turn the battery latch counterclockwise so that the arrow
points to UNLOCK.
2. As shown above, remove the battery from the end
nearest to the battery latch.
Note: Before removing the battery, switch off your
handheld and disconnect the handheld from any
other devices.
