Additional functions

You can select additional functions to improve
the washing results.
• Prepare your washing machine as nor-
mal: Load laundry and detergent, open
tap, switch on washing machine and set
the desired cycle.
Depending on the cycle, you can select
several settings.
Temperature selection
Depending on the cycle, you can set the tem-
perature to cold, 20 °C, 30 °C, 40 °C, 60 °C
or 90 °C.
• Press the 'Temperature selection' but-
ton (3) repeatedly until the desired tem-
perature is displayed.
Spin
Depending on the cycle, you can set the spin
speed to 0, 600, 800, 1000, 1200 or 1400
rpm.
• Press the 'RPM' button (11) repeatedly
until the desired spin speed is displayed.
Extra rinse
'Extra rinse' is recommended for sensitive
skin. The appliance will wash with more water
and include an additional rinse cycle.
• Press the 'Extra rinse' button (7).
Pre-wash
'Pre-wash' is recommended for heavily soiled
laundry.
If you select a cycle with pre-wash, fill deter-
gent compartment I with ¼ of the detergent
and fill detergent compartment II with ¾ of
the detergent.
• Press the 'Pre-wash' button (10).
Additional functions

Time saving

You can reduce the cycle time with the op-
tion 'Time saving'. This is possible with the
six blue-marked cycles and can be a sensible
option for slightly soiled laundry.
1. Select one of the blue-marked cycles us-
ing the cycle selector (2).
2. Press the 'Time saving' button (6).
The reduced cycle time and the

Start time pre-selection

The cycle usually starts as soon as you have
pressed the button (9).
The appliance offers two ways to delay the
start of the cycle. The start time delay can
be set in one-hour increments. The maximum
start time pre-selection is 24 hours.
