Pre-wash/Extra rinse

Please note that these settings affect the cy-
cle's duration, as well as the water and ener-
gy consumption.
After selecting your preferred cycle, you can
add one or both functions to the cycle:
"Pre-wash"
This option is recommended only for
heavily soiled laundry (see "Adding
detergent/fabric-care products" on
page EN-17).
"Extra rinse"
• To select an option, repeatedly tap the
"Function" button (9) until the LED for the
desired function(s) lights up.

Start time preselection

The cycle usually starts as soon as you have
pressed the
button (10). This appliance also
offers you the option to delay the start time.
Setting the start time preselection
The start time delay can be set in one-hour
increments. The maximum start time pre-se-
lection is 24 hours.
1. Select the desired cycle using the cycle
selector (1).
2. Press the button "Start time preselec-
tion" (12).
The
LED (4) lights up; the display shows
the delay time
, i.e. the selected cycle will

start in one hour.
Operation: Additional functions

"Custom" cycle

If you frequently use a standard cycle with
certain additional settings, you can skip this
combination.
1. Select the standard cycle and the desired
cycle adjustments.
2. Press and hold the "Temp/

for approx. 3 seconds.
You can now use the "Custom" cycle.
If you want to save a different combina-
tion of standard cycle and cycle adjust-
ments, repeat the process.
3. To extend the delay time, repeatedly
press the "Start time preselection" (12)
button until the display shows the desired
delay time.
4. Press the
button (10).
The cycle will start after the delay setting
has elapsed.
Terminate delay
If the
button (10)
• has already been pressed:
switch the appliance off using the
button (9).
• has not yet been pressed:
repeatedly press the "Start time preselec-
tion" button (12) until the display shows
The
LED (4) goes out.
