The lint trap stops threads and other foreign
bodies ending up in the pump with the suds.
Clean the lint trap every 30 wash cycles.
1. Switch off the appliance.
2. Close the tap.
3. Open the shutter of the lint trap (17) with
a flat object.
4. Lock the lint trap in place by turning it an-
ticlockwise.
5. Remove the foreign body and clean the
lint trap thoroughly under running water.
6. Replace the lint trap and turn it clockwise
until it clicks into place.
Care and maintenance
7. Insert the shutter (17) in such a way that
the opening is pointing upwards and
press it down firmly.

Improper handling of the appliance

The appliance is very heavy. Nev-
er carry it alone, but always have at
least two persons to do so.
If the appliance is in a frost-prone room, you
must drain the residual water so that it does
not freeze in the appliance and cause dam-
age.
1. Follow steps 1 to 5 as described in the
chapter 'Cleaning the lint trap' from
page EN-28.
2. With the assistance of another person, tilt
the appliance forward slightly to allow any
residual water to drain from the appliance.
3. Replace the lint trap and screw it clock-
wise all the way in.
4. Put the shutter (17) back into position.
Make sure that the rectangular opening in
the cover is at the top.
5. Unscrew the water inlet hose from the tap
and remove the water drain hose from the
bathtub or siphon to drain any residual
water.
