Care and maintenance
Close the tap before cleaning the fi l-
ter or replacing the gaskets.
Check and clean fi lters and gaskets
regularly.
Replace defect fi lters and gaskets im-
mediately. Never operate the appli-
ance without fi lters and gaskets.
In the water inlet, the appliance contains fil-
ters that prevent foreign particles from pene-
trating the appliance.
Clean the filter every 30 wash cycles or if the
appliance is not getting enough water despite
the tap being open completely.
1. Switch off the appliance.
2. Take the mains plug out of the socket and
turn off the tap.
Cleaning filter in the inlet hose
1. Unscrew the water inlet hose (b) from the
tap.

2. Pull the filter (37) out of the union nut, e.g.
with tweezers or a pair of pliers.
3. Rinse the filter under fresh water and
clean with a small, soft brush.
4. Re-insert the filter.
5. Screw the water inlet hose onto the tap
again.
Cleaning filter in the inlet hose
connecting nozzle
1. Unscrew the water inlet hose from the
appliance.
2. Use pliers to remove the filter (38) from the
water inlet hose's connecting nozzle (13).
3. Rinse the filter under fresh water and
clean it with a small, soft brush.
4. Reinsert the filter and screw the water
inlet hose back onto the connecting noz-
zles.
5. Open the tap to check whether the water
inlet hose and connections are sealed.

Cleaning the lint trap

CAUTION!
Risk of scalding!
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to scalding caused by hot suds.
Leave the suds to cool before drain-
ing them.
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
If the emergency/residual water is emp-
tied, a quantity of water will fl ow out.
Use an adequately large collection
container.
