Custom Wipe

Raise Hand for Avaya Spaces

In Avaya Spaces, you can configure your space so that a member or a guest joining your meeting,
once muted by an administrator, can unmute itself only if the administrator permits to do. This
feature is called "Prevent Unmuting".
To enable the feature, login to
client, select your space, press the three dots near the space name, select Edit Space.
Release Notes for Avaya Collaboration Unit CU360
When the guest leaves the facility (check-out), the staff can remotely access the specific
CU360 device, to wipe (clean-up) only the data and the accounts added by the guest,
without affecting the initial configuration of the device (pre-requisites). This is a "Custom
Wipe", as not all the device data are wiped, but only the ones related to the guest.

Browse to the specific CU360 device, at the menu

Click on the button "Custom data system wipe". This action will
Remove all new accounts added by the guest
o
Remove all new applications installed by the guest
o
Delete all data used by applications installed by white list
o
Delete all data used by pre-installed applications:
o
▪ Clean-up browser data (to remove browser's history)
▪ Clean-up Avaya CU360 app (to remove customer personal data,
calls and logs)
▪ Clean-up Spaces Room (to remove customer personal data and
calls)
▪ Clean-up Avaya Cloud Office Rooms (to remove customer
personal data and calls)
Delete all downloaded files and images
o
Delete all images from Gallery
o
Remove Android lock page
o
Warning
•
Any changes made by a guest into Android settings cannot be removed or
deleted automatically in this release. A protection to accessing Android Settings
will be added for next release.
•
Web access is restored to the default Admin/1234 credentials after wiping custom
data. It is suggested export the configuration for each CU360 and to import it
again after wiping data, as explained below.
•
If the facility staff needs to restore some settings in CU360 application, these can
be saved by exporting CU360 configuration file from the web interface and restore
after wiping the data importing the same file from the web interface.
