6.2 Care and Preventive Maintenance

The fan is designed to keep the device cool and within temperature range during normal

operation. Ensuring that the fan module is clean, dust free is important to maintain product

warranty, correct working order and for safety.Clean fan assembly at least every six months,

or more regularly depending on the installed environment. We suggest replace the fan every

year and remove the dust screen if your device has to keep it ventilated.

There are two fan modules in X7, one on the top cover and the other on the rear panel.

1.Clean fan on top cover

Step 1：Loosen the screw by hex screwdriver

and hold the module with both hands, then

pull out carefully

Step 3：Clean dust on the front and back of

the fan module by brush.

Step 2: Loosen the locking screws to

separate black cover panel and fans by cross

screwdriver.

Step 4： Loosen the locking screw to separate

the dust screen and fan. Remove the dust

screen and clean fan by brush.
