If the mains input is abnormal or the rectifier becomes abnormal, the UPS
transfers to battery mode. The power module obtains DC power from batteries,
and the power is converted into AC output by the inverter.

2.2.2.4 Maintenance Bypass Mode

The maintenance bypass unit has been installed. When the UPS works in
maintenance bypass mode, the current flows through the maintenance bypass
instead of the power module. You can maintain the circuit inside the cabinet.
