B - MISE EN SERVICE
1. DEBALLAGE DE L'INSTALLATION
ATTENTION : la stabilité de l'installation est assurée jusqu'à une
inclinaison de 10°.
Découper la bande adhésive et ouvrir le carton de protection.
Retirer la housse d'emballage et les protections.
Soulever le générateur par ses 2 poignées pour retirer la palette support de
la source de puissance.
ATTENTION : Soulever à deux personnes.
Poids = 40 kg
2. RACCORDEMENT ELECTRIQUE AU RESEAU
Le PRESTOTIG 320 AC/DC est livré :
Câble primaire d'alimentation branché dans le générateur
Couplage en 400V
Si votre réseau correspond au couplage usine, il suffit d'équiper le câble d'alimentation
Rep = 19 d'une prise mâle compatible à votre équipement électrique et calibrée à la
consommation maxi du générateur (voir tableau des consommations selon réseau
230V / 400V page 9)
Si votre réseau correspond à une autre tension d'alimentation, il est nécessaire
de changer le couplage à l'intérieur de la source de puissance.
Pour cela :
Mettre le poste hors-tension.
Retirer le capot supérieur de protection.
Adapter le couplage à la tension du réseau d'utilisation suivant les indications
données dans le générateur et dépliant figure 5.
Remonter le capot.
Les fréquences réseau acceptées sont :
50 et 60 Hz
L'alimentation doit être protégée par un dispositif de protection (fusible ou disjoncteur)
de calibre correspondant à la consommation primaire maximum du générateur (voir
page 9)
3. RACCORDEMENT DE L'ARRIVEE DE GAZ (SUR
DETENDEUR)

Le tuyau de gaz est associé au générateur. Il suffit de le raccorder à la sortie du
détendeur sur la bouteille de gaz comme indiqué ci-après.
Ouvrir légèrement puis refermer le robinet de la bouteille pour évacuer
éventuellement les impuretés.
Monter le détenteur/débitmètre.
Raccorder le tuyau gaz livré avec le générateur sur la sortie du détendeur
par son raccord.
Ouvrir la bouteille de gaz.
En soudage, le débit de gaz devra se situer entre 15 et 20l/min.
ATTENTION
Veiller à bien arrimer la bouteille de gaz en mettant en place une
sangle de sécurité.

Cut the adhesive tape and open the protective box.
Remove the packaging cover and protection pads.
Lift the generator using the two handles to remove the support pallet from
the power source.
CAUTION : To be lifted by 2 people.

2. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS TO THE MAINS
PRESTOTIG 320 AC/DC is delivered with :
Primary power supply cable connected to the generator
400V coupling
If your network corresponds to in-plant coupling, simply fit the power supply cable item
19 with a male plug compatible with your electrical equipment and weighed for
maximum consumption of the generator (see table of consumption according to the
network 230V / 400V, page 9).
If your network corresponds to another power supply voltage, it is necessary to
change the coupling inside the power source.
To do this :
Down-power the unit.
Remove the top protective cover.
Adapt the coupling to the voltage of the network according to the information
given in the generator and on the leaflet, figure 5.
Re-install the cover.
Acceptable network frequencies are :
50 and 60 Hz
The power supply must be protected by a protective device (fuse or circuit breaker) of
a rating corresponding to the maximum primary consumption of the generator (see
page 9)
3. GAS INLET CONNECTION (ON PRESSURE

The gas hose is associated with the generator. Simply connect it to the pressure
reducer outlet on the gas cylinder as described below.
Slightly open then close the gas cylinder cock to remove any impurities.
Install the pressure reducer/flow meter.
Connect the gas hose delivered with the generator to the pressure reducer
outlet with union.
Open the gas cylinder.
When welding, gas flow rate must be between 15 and 20l/min.
CAUTION
Be careful to secure the gas cylinder by putting a safety strap back in
place.
