If the outdoor unit does not take the electricity from indoor unit, turn off the
circuit breaker for the outdoor unit.
Step 2 Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the four screws that secure the fan guard,
and remove the fan guard.

Step 3 Remove the screw from the fan using a small wrench, and remove the outdoor fan
blades.

Step 4 If the motor of the outdoor fan needs to be replaced, perform the following steps:

Step 5 Install the new outdoor fan by performing the preceding steps in reverse order,
and connect the fan cable to the corresponding position in the control board.

Remove the top cover and front upper panel using a Phillips screwdriver.
Use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the red clip of the fan terminal CN17
of the control board, and then remove the interconnection terminal.
Pull out the cable from the fan side.
Use a socket wrench to remove the four screws that secure the motor
mounting plate, and take out the motor and cable.
