5.4 Cylinder clamps

1. Shake the oxygen cylinder to ensure that it is securely fastened in the cylinder clamps.
The latches on the cylinder clamps must not come open. The cylinder must not move.
If the latches come open or if the cylinder moves, the clamping force of the latches
must be readjusted (see "3.2 Changing the oxygen cylinders" on page 9).
2. Check the cylinder clamps for corrosion (every 6 months).
If you find evidence of corrosion on a clamp, it must be replaced by an authorized
technician. Send the box to your authorized dealer or the manufacturer for repair.

5.5 Pressure reducer

Checking the system for leaks
1. Close the system downstream of the pressure reducer. To do this, either close the valves
on the oxygen administrator or switch off all the connected units.
2. Check that all screwed unions and hose connections are tight. If necessary, tighten the
screwed unions, by hand.
