3. Screw the pressure reducer to the cylinder valve using
the knurled union nut. Tighten the union nut by hand.
4. Engage the latches and close the clamps to prevent the
oxygen cylinders from slipping.
Note:
You can adapt the cylinder clamps exactly to the
cylinder's diameter by making use of the fine
adjustment on the cylinder clamps.
Proceed as follows:
1. Open the latch on the cylinder clamp.
2. Turn the adjustment screw to adapt the length of the
cylinder clamp exactly to the cylinder.
3. Close the latch again.
• Adjust so that the cylinder is properly secured, while
allowing the clamps to be closed using normal force.
• If the clamps are tightened so much that they can only
be closed by using excessive force, there is a danger
that the clamps could be overstretched and damaged.
