22. For 8171 units with Steel Top Panels: Install the leveling hardware to the indicated levels. Attach the
top to the body of the stove and ensure a slight gap between the top and the stove body.

Rotation Lock Install Procedure

1. Open the lower control door and locate the rotation control.
2. Ensure the stove is in its 0-degree orientation (line up the index marks)(see fig. 3), and then position the stove
to center the door on the hearth.
3. Press the control lever and release. Using a 13mm wrench, remove the hex screw at the base of the control
knob and washer (see fig. 4).
4. Rotate the stove body very slightly. Slide the Locking Stopper down through the hole on the deck of the
control knob. Be sure the Stopper slides all the way into place over the matching groove (see fig. 5).
5. Rotate the stove back to the zero position. Rotate the stove in the opposite direction as Step 4 slightly. Slide
the second Locking Stopper down into place (see fig. 6).
6. Rotate the stove back to the zero position and replace the Control knob (see fig. 7).
