Details
You can determine the amount of memory that
is installed on your system by pressing the
key during system startup.
If your system is already running, select
Settings > Control Panel
icon. The total amount of memory

installed is displayed under the General tab.
There may be some compatibility problems
with non-HP memory modules. HP supports
and recommends only HP supplied memory
modules.
How often has the problem occurred?
How long was the Workstation running before
the problem appeared?
Have there been any recent hardware or
software changes made to the Workstation?
The BIOS version is displayed in the Setup
program main menu, accessed by pressing
during start-up. This information is also in the
summary screen, accessed by pressing
during start-up.
Did the problem occur after changes were
made to the BIOS using the Setup program?
This is to check for interrupt conflicts. You can
find IRQs by running e-DiagTools as described
in "Using e-Diag Tools for Hardware Problems"
on page 225.
