6 Troubleshooting

6.1 The key must be inserted several times

The key must be inserted twice before it can be turned
Cause: The battery is low.
1 Have the batteries replaced by a qualified person as soon as possible.
The key must be inserted 4x before it can be turned
Cause: The battery is very low.
1 Have the batteries replaced immediately by a qualified person.
Note!
If the battery is flat, the KESO Genie knob will only check the mechanical functions.
If the battery is flat, you can only actuate the KESO Genie knob mechanically from the inside.
6.2 The cylinder can no longer be opened/closed
Cause: The electronics battery is empty.
When the battery is empty, the cylinder lock changes to the pre-set position "de-energised open" or
"de-energised closed". If you do not specify the pre-set position of the cylinder when the battery is empty
when ordering the product, the cylinder is delivered with the pre-set position "de-energised open".
For the PC Time Version, you can change the preset position in k-entry
1 Have the batteries replaced immediately by a qualified person.
