7.2.2 KESO Genie EX-BS
How to remove the batteries

To access the battery compartment, remove the screws from the face plate or fitting.
 The electronics are now exposed.

Optional: Remove the bracket clamp on the battery compartment.

Remove the battery pack.
How to insert the batteries
Danger!
Explosion due to sparking in the electronics
Risk of death or serious injury
· Only use the battery pack defined in 3.1.2 KESO Genie EX-BS for the KESO Genie EX-BS, Seite 13.
Impor tant!
Risk of material damage due to incorrect insertion of the batteries
If batteries are inserted incorrectly, you may damage the knob electronics.
· Pay attention to polarisation when inserting the batteries.

Insert the new batteries into the battery compartment.

Optional: Refit the bracket clamp.
 The KESO Genie BS is ready for use again.

Explosion due to sparking in PPGV2
Risk of death or serious injury
· Do not program the KESO Genie EX-BS in a potentially explosive area.
· Remove the KESO Genie EX-BS and program it in a non-explosive area.
If the battery supply is interrupted for more than 90 seconds during a battery change, reset the clock via
the k-entry
®
management software or with the PPGV2. The stored authorisation and event data will not be
lost during a battery change.
