1. Button for reverse sewing (reverse transport)

Select the direct selection patterns 1–5 or the stitch
pattern 00– 05 using the number selection if you
want the sewing computer to sew in reverse as well.
Using the Start/Stop button:
When you are sewing with one of these stitches or
patterns and shortly before starting press the reverse
sewing button, the machine will sew in reverse until
you press the button again. If you only want to sew
a few tie-off stitches, you can press and hold the
reverse sewing button during use.
The machine will only sew in reverse until the button
is released again.

Using the foot control:
When you are sewing with one of these stitches or
patterns and then press the reverse sewing button,
the machine will sew in reverse until you release the
button. Once the button is released, the sewing com-
puter will sew forwards.
Tip: When the button is pressed before you start sew-
ing, the machine will permanently sew in reverse until
you press the button again.
When you select the direct selection patterns 6–7 or
the stitch patterns 06–14 and 27–99 using the num-
ber selection and you press the reverse sewing button
during sewing, a few tie-off stitches are sewn slowly
before the sewing computer stops automatically (To do
that, start the appliance with the Start/Stop button).

2. Auto-lock button

When the Direct Patterns 1– 4 and Number Patterns
00– 04 are selected, the machine will immediately
sew 3 locking stitches when the Auto-lock button is
pressed, then automatically stop.
If you press the Auto-lock button shortly, the
machine will sew 3 locking stitches and stop auto-
matically.
The LCD will display the figure
until the
machine is stopped.
When the Direct Patterns 5–7 and Number Patterns
05 –14 or 27–99 are selected, press the Auto-lock
button while sewing, the machine will sew 3 locking
stitches at the end of the current pattern and auto-
matically stop.
The LCD will display the figure
until the
machine is stopped.
The function will be cancelled if you press the button
once again or select another pattern.
