4-3-2. RTC Check
Check that the RTC is backed up by the rechargeable
battery.
1. Display the main viewer page (Section 4-3-1) and
check that the clock operates correctly.

When the displayed date and/or time is incorrect,
reset date and time referring to Section 4-5.
4-3-3. PC Card Slot Check
Check whether the PC card slot and memory card are
recognized normally or not.
1. Connect the PC card adaptor with the Memory Stick
inserted to the PC card slot of the SNT-1 board.
2. Display the administrator setting menu page referring
to Section 4-3-1.
3. After approximately 5 seconds, click "System" of the
Basic menu to display the System setting page.
4. Check that ATA Card (free space: xxxxxxbyte) is
indicated in A slot (adrv) of the Default URL.
5. Close the System setting page.
6. Remove the PC card adaptor with the Memory Stick
inserted from the PC card slot of the SNT-1 board.

4-4. Updating the Software
After upgrading the software, reset the date/time data
referring to Section 4-5.

. All setting items are reset to the factory setting state
when updating the software. If possible, execute
"Backup Setting" in Initialization on the System setting
page to save the current setting of this unit before
updating the software.
After updating, activate the setting saved in "Restore
Setting".
. To obtain the version updating program, contact your
local Sony Sales Office/Service Center.

. LAN cable (cross cable)

When using a straight cable, connect the unit to the PC
through a HUB that is not connected to any other
networks.
. Memory Stick (16 MB or more)
. PC card adaptor (MPAC-PC3)
