2-7. Removing/Reattaching the
Packings

2-7-1. Packing (Exhaust)

Removal
1. Remove the louver. (Refer to Section 1-2-1.)
2. Remove the upper case assembly, and
disconnect the harness from the connectors
(CN12, CN13, and CN15 to CN17) on the
PS-699 board.
(Refer to steps 2 and 3 in Section 2-2.)
3. Remove the drip tray and heat collector.
(Refer to steps 3 and 4 in Section 2-4.)
4. Remove the four set screws (PSW4 x 12),
and remove the heat exhaust.
5. Remove the packing (exhaust).
Installation
6. Reattach the packing (exhaust) in the reverse
order of steps 4 and 5.

. When attaching the packing, make sure to
attach it into the groove of the upper case.
. When attaching the heat exhaust, align the
holes to the positioning bosses of the upper
case.
7. Reassemble the unit in the reverse order of
steps 1 to 3.
