2-4. Removing/Reattaching the
Peltier Element
Removal
1. Remove the louver. (Refer to Section 1-2-1.)
2. Remove the upper case assembly, and
disconnect the harness from the connectors
(CN12, CN13, and CN15 to CN17) on the
PS-699 board.
(Refer to steps 2 and 3 in Section 2-2.)
3. Remove the five screws (P2.6 x 4), and
remove the drip tray.
4. Remove the eight set screws (PSW4 x 12),
and remove the heat collector.
5. Remove the four screws (PS4 x 8), and
remove each peltier element.
6. Remove the thermal sheets (L and S) from
the peltier elements.
Installation
7. Reattach each peltier element in the reverse
order of steps 3 to 6.
8. Reassemble the unit in the reverse order of
steps 1 and 2.
