3-1-7. Network Control Block

Network communication is controlled through the SH CPU
(IC106), the PHY chip (IC306), the Hub chip (IC307), and
the modular jacks (incorporated into a pulse transformer)
of CN6, CN7, and CN14.
CN14 communicates with an external PC, and CN7 with
the PTZ camera. CN6 is for service.
The communication between the SH CPU (IC106), PHY
chip (IC306), and Hub chip (IC307) is performed by MII
based on the IEEE 802.3u standard. The transfer rate
(10BASE-T/100BASE-TX) or communication mode (full
duplex/half duplex) can also be switched.
3-1-8. External RS-232C Communication
Block
The RS-232C communication with the outside is
performed through the RS-232C driver (IC31 and IC32) by
the communication control signals (360_TXD and
360_RXD) from SH CPU (IC106).
RS-232C communicates in serial with the 360d camera
module through CN13.
In this unit, this block is used for writing the initial
firmware.

3-1-9. DIP Switch Block

DIP switch S151 is used to switch the operation mode of
the system. When the power is on, SH CPU (IC106) reads
the state of the DIP switch to judge the operation mode.
In the normal mode, bits 1 to 4 are all set to "0".
In the test mode, bits 1 to 3 are set to "1", and bit 4 is set to
"0".
In the test mode, serial communication from CN12 to SH
CPU (IC106) is possible.

3-2-1. Power Block

The +12 V DC is supplied from the outside through CN2.
IC101 generates the +5 V DC from the +12 V DC.
IC151 generates the +3.3 V DC from the +12 V DC.
The +5 V DC and +3.3 V DC are supplied to each device
of SNT-1 board through CN5.
The +12 V DC is also supplied to the 360d camera module
(through SNT-1 board) and PTZ camera (through CN4).
3-2-2. FAN/Heater/Peltier Element Control
Block
The fan, heater, and peltier element are controlled by the
control signals input from SH CPU (IC106) on the SNT-1
board through CN6.
The control signals are output from SH CPU (IC106) after
the power has been input for about 15 seconds.
