2-6. Removing/Reattaching the
Fans
2-6-1. Fan (Exhaust)
Removal
1. Remove the louver. (Refer to Section 1-2-1.)
2. Remove the upper case assembly, and
disconnect the harness from the connectors
(CN12, CN13, and CN15 to CN17) on the
PS-699 board.
(Refer to steps 2 and 3 in Section 2-2.)
3. Remove the cable locks.

To remove the cable locks, prepare a tool
such as a wrench.
4. Remove the three set screws (PSW4 x 35),
and remove each fan and fan cover.
Installation
5. Reattach each fan in the reverse order of
steps 3 and 4.

When attaching the fans, be sure to have the
right side and direction for the labels and
harness.
6. Reassemble the unit in the reverse order of
steps 1 and 2.
