Complete the following steps to install the terminals insulator and cover in the OCX 8800.

Complete the following steps to test the OCX 8800 sensor housing for leaks.

Apply anti-seize compound to threads of O
sensor housing (H).
CAUTION!
EQUIPMENT DAMAGE
Stripped threads on the O
leakage can affect the O
measurements and calibration. Avoid over-tightening the O
2
cell and heater strut assembly.
Install O
cell and heater strut assembly (P) in sensor housing (H). Snug up, but do
2
not over-tighten the assembly.
Reconnect the lead wires from O
housing terminal blocks.
Refer to
Figure
9-21.
Install reference air tube (C,
Make sure that the open end of reference air tube extends into heater tube of O
and heater strut assembly (P).
Install insulator (I,
Figure
insulator against terminal blocks and snap terminal marking plate (J) to mating
stand-off.
Position opposite side of insulator (I) and secure with related marking plate (J).
If removed, install cover gasket (M). Screw cover (A) onto sensor housing (H).
Tighten cover firmly.
Align locking clip (G) with gap between cover ribs.
Loosen screw (F) and slide locking clip (G) fully into gap between cover ribs.
Retighten screw (F).
Install 1/4 NPT cap on dilution air fitting. Install a 1/4 NPT cap on sample tube (C,
Figure
9-11) or plug 1/4 NPT sample inlet port.
Capped or plugged ports must be air tight.
If not in place, install exhaust tube (B,
instructions provided.
Connect a calibrated manometer to the CAL GAS inlet port.
Connect and apply clean instrument air at 45 psig (310 kPa gauge) to the
instrument air inlet fitting.
Observe the manometer reading.
