Complete the following steps to install the sample and exhaust tubes in the OCX 8800.

Install eductor
Complete the following steps to install the eductor in the OCX 8800.
Prerequisites
If installed, the O
sensor housing (F) before you install the eductor.
Reference Manual
Lubricate and install the COe sensor gasket (F). Apply anti-seize compound to
threads of screws.
Install COe sensor holder (A), lockwashers (I), and screws (J). Rotate flat of COe
sensor (A) to center of sensor holder (E).
Align COe sensor flat parallel to sensor holder flat, as shown in
screws (J,

9-13).
If replacing the thermocouple adapter (H), apply anti-seize to the pipe threads.
Install and tighten the thermocouple adaptor.

test gas passage holes line up with each other in all components.
Apply a small amount of anti-seize compound to the screw threads and use screws
(M) to secure the assembly. Torque to 35 in.-lb (4 N-m).
Carefully slide the O
heater strut assembly (E) into the heater tube (I).

Press down on the back plate of the strut bracket (F) to ensure the spring (G) tension
is present to hold the contact pad against the O
Secure the strut bracket (F) and return wire (D) with four screws (B) and lockwashers
(C). Make sure the return wire (D) is tightly fastened.

9-11. Apply pipe thread sealant (Loctite #567) to the replacement sample
tube (C) or exhaust tube (B) pipe threads.
Do not apply sealant to the first turn of the pipe threads.
Thread the sample tube (C) or exhaust tube (B) into the housing. Use a pipe wrench
to tighten the tube.
If used, install and tighten the in situ filter (D).
