Mounting the Sensor
The choice of mount for the sensor depends on the product being measured, the type of sensor
purchased, and the on-line environment. The guidelines in Chapter Two, "Installation," and the supplied
installation drawing will help you determine an appropriate location for the sensor. Important factors to
consider when mounting the sensor are:
• The maximum allowable ambient temperature is 50° C (122° F).
• The maximum allowable temperature change is 2° F per hour.
• The operating humidity should be between 5% and 95% relative non-condensing humidity.
The sensor can be positioned with the port facing up, down, or in any other direction.
