Supervisory Computer

The supervisory computer must be installed in accordance with the applicable HunterLab installation
drawing, which is included at the end of this chapter for reference. The following factors, as well as the
details shown in the installation drawing, should be considered in making this installation.
• Access to the computer, monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Routine operation requires observation
of displays on the monitor, use of the keyboard and mouse, and access to the floppy disk drive for
routine file backups. Thus, the location and height of the computer, monitor, keyboard, and mouse
should be convenient.
• Environment. The supervisory computer is a standard, non-hardened system, and requires a normal
computer environment. The ambient temperature around the computer and monitor must be between
15° C (59° F) and 30° C (86° F).
• The communications settings for the computer serial port should be set as 9600 baud, no parity, 8
data bits, and 1 stop bit.
